Diminutive 9mm by one of the best to ever do it–the “gentlemen from Georgia” Mr. John Harrison. John began building custom 1911s in the early 1990s, and earned his reputation the old-fashioned way—one pistol at a time. His work is clean, understated and incredibly well executed. This beautiful example is cloaked in full hard chrome and elephant ivory grips….because 9mm don’t go boom enough to break em. I’ve been wrestling with this for about five years, so I’m gonna leave it up to the Instagram community. Do I leave it all chrome or do I strip the slide and blue this thing into a two-tone?
