It seemed it was a slow start to the season this year. The heat made August hunting pretty rough and there was a week or two I didn’t even bother to go. Things picked up late last month and took off this month in the cool weather with no humidity.

Got one of the biggest Fox squirrels of my life. On top of that, I am getting the daily bag limit every time. I have hit 65 so far and may or may not stop there. Turkey season did start over the weekend and I may pause to chase after a gobbler.
