Colt 70 series in .45 ACP, built in 2003 by master pistolsmith Victor “Vic” Tibbets. Vic spent his early career at Wilson Combat, honing his craft alongside some of the finest pistolsmiths in the country before striking out on his own. It was during that relatively brief period of independence that he built this beautiful Colt that adorns his name. He would later become involved with Guncrafter Industries before eventually returning to the mothership at Wilson Combat, where he is one of the gifted craftsmen responsible for building their prestigious Supergrades. A little birdie told me that Wilson Combat is going to build on Colts again. This one shod in cocobolo grips by Craig Spegel…because we are not animals.
