Model 70, US Property, with a 14X Unertl
A true classic in .30-06 Springfield.
Unertl Team Spotting Scopes
Among the rifle scopes and tubes sights made by Unertl, they also made super spotting scopes of various sizes. Not often seen on the market because most of them are still being used by various private shooters, clubs and military shooting teams.
The Beretta Model 38
There was a lot of iconic guns that became famous, or more famous, during WW2. The submachine guns seemed to get special attention.
Unertl Military Spotting Scope
My friend, Canvas & Cosmoline on instagram has been collecting military spotting scopes for a few weeks and has turned up this Unertl 20X spotting scope. Which, if you want he has put up on ebay.
Extended BAR Mags
Modern 30 round mags and period AA 40 round mags. Either would have been good for movement to contact, the assault or static defense from barricade.
Mystery Colt Prototype – A Horse With No Name

Just finished sprucing up a Unertl 4X Small Game Scope for a friend. Installed a new 0.0006″ reticle, greased the turrets and repainted the graduationsContinue reading “Unertl Refurbishing”

The fellas over at pre64win.com shared pictures of this beautiful Model 70 in the .22 Hornet. I’ve always wanted to like the Hornet but never could get them to shoot as accurately as I think they should. One of these days I will give’em another go.
De Simone Rifle Scope
De Simone scope with variable power. These were produced in California the ’60 or ’70s, and were of the highest quality. On the left side there is a movable slide that could change the power. It had quite a range too. I’ve only seen 1 on ebay, and it went for a couple of grand.Continue reading “De Simone Rifle Scope”
