A Classic, very early Build form Richard Heinie’s bench. This one is #16, built on a 70 Series Colt Government Model 1911 in 45 ACP. Built in the style of Armand Swenson, one of Heinie’s biggest early influences. This piece is a great example of late 70s style.

I have been through hundreds Colt double action revolvers but until cleaning this early model 1896 Colt New Police .32 I had never come across a leaf spring in the hammer and on the cylinder stop in the frame.
