An old resurrected post by Howard from the old site. You can get some good deals buying used parts online. I buy a good deal of stuff used on the Equipment Exchange on AR15.com. The problem is that when you buy used you are taking a large risk, and you really need to know whatContinue reading “Buying A Used AR15 Upper”

Grips
Guest post from our pal Adam. There is no shortage of companies in the AR game producing their own grip and each promise improved ergonomics, control, comfort, handjobs, etc. I’ve fallen for the marketing hype a few times and tried most of them over the years in an attempt to find the one grip “toContinue reading “Grips”
Badger Ord. Ambi Charging Handle
A current hot trend for the AR15 is for ambi controls. This is one of the trends I find to be worth all the hype. I can think of no real down side to being able to work your firearms just as easy with your alternate killing hand as you do with your main killingContinue reading “Badger Ord. Ambi Charging Handle”
A Better Way to Battle Belt?
Irecently found myself in a bit of a conundrum. My fitness regime and nutrition planning resulted in a significant amount of fat loss and changing body proportions. Among the results so far, my long standing MOLLE battle belt no longer fits. I kept making efforts to lighten it up, but it eventually go tto theContinue reading “A Better Way to Battle Belt?”
“Colt” 40 round AR15 Magazine

But as time went on I forgot all about the idea. Then I saw aContinue reading “ALICE Rucksack Updates (updated)”

I look down, magazine spring hanging out, follower pieces on the table. I checked myself to see if I wasContinue reading “Parts Gun Kaboom”
Soviet Weapons And Gear
I ran across those nifty pictures of some Soviet weapons. Some are clones and some real. With real pictures of thrown in with the owner’s gear collection.
Getting The “Perfect Rifle” Then Hating It ( A Cautionary Tale )
Yesterday I read a thread over at good old B-Arfcom that illustrates a common mistake for a lot of people who chase after the same goal. The poster decided to build his “perfect rifle.” Yes. He got all the parts he wanted and put it together to find out not only was it not perfectContinue reading “Getting The “Perfect Rifle” Then Hating It ( A Cautionary Tale )”
The Guns of Dr. Ted Kaczynski
You may or may not know this but I am a pretty big fan of Ted K. You may be surprised by that and you may wonder if I am out of my mind. How can this be?! If you only got your info about Kaczynski from TV or the news media, this is anContinue reading “The Guns of Dr. Ted Kaczynski”
